A statue of Caesar Rodney was removed in Wilmington, Delaware.

Rodney, one of the signers of the US Declaration of Independence, owned 200 enslaved people.¹ Altogether, 34 of the 47 signers of the Declaration of Independence appear to have been slavers.²
